An Analysis of Financial Health: Financial Statement and Break-Even Point at PT. Gexcon Indonesia

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the financial position of PT. Gexcon Indonesia as of 31 December 2021.

The qualitative aspects of the company are analyzed through strategic analysis, which together with the company's finances. The company's finances are assessed using an analysis of the calculation of financial ratios to determine its health and the value of its Break-Even Point (BEP). Quantitative data on the company's finances is obtained with the permission granted by the related company. Along with this, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on companies and their environment will also be seen.

After the analysis, the forecast for the future uses historical and current financial statements combined with findings from strategic and financial analysis. At the end of the thesis there are conclusions and recommendations of the author to help companies and readers understand the level of financial soundness of the company and the value that the company needs to achieve its BEP.
