dc.description.abstract | This thesis examines how The Hate U Give (2017), Dear Martin (2017), and The Absolute True Diary of a Part-Time Indian (2009) can be used when teaching about US ethnic minorities in Norwegian high school classrooms. The thesis contains activities and tasks that can be used when teaching about US ethnic minorities. Everything is developed with the help of the new Norwegian national curriculum of 2020 and the competence aims for English, as well as the core curriculum. This thesis can be used as a guide or a workbook when teaching the chosen literature. | |
