Abstract

Veidekke Agder has previously designed a Leanhouse based on a set of principles in cooperation with students from UiA and is currently looking at the possibility of implementing these principles in their organization. This thesis will examine the potential winnings of a principle-based approach to leadership and what central problems should be addressed ifthe principles are implemented. The following problem statement has been used: How can project-based organizations practice principle-based management in their value chain simultaneously ensure a good customer journey through a project, as well as the realization of project goals? The following two research questions have been used: What winnings can Veidekke Agder expect by using Lean principles to ensure a good customer journey through a project, correlated with the purchasing and procurement function of the value chain? How can Veidekke Agder’s Leanhouse be implemented in a way that facilitates practical use?
