dc.description.abstractMost children in elementary school writes texts multiple times a year. A lot of them are good at writing stories, but many finds it harder to writetexts where they have to use rhetoric and reason and debate to the reader. A lot of the pupils are good at reason and come up with good arguments when they talk, but it is harder when they have to write it down. The purpose of this text was to find characteristic features in an argumentative text written by students. This study is based on text from Normprosjektet. This project was done by researchers and was a collaboration between several institutions and Skrivesenteret. It was executed between 2012 and 2016. There are 32 student text in this thesis, and they are all written in nynorsk. The text are from 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th grade, and there are more text from 6th and 7th grade than 3rd and 4th.en_US
