Folkehelsearbeid i norske kommuner : Hvilket folkehelseområde har høyest politisk prioritet i kommunene, og hvilke faktorer påvirker den politiske prioriteringen av dette området?

Abstract

In the process of planning the master project, we were several students who were interested in mapping the working and organizational conditions of the public health coordinators in the municipality. Therefore, we created the project: «Public health work in Norwegian municipalitiesr-2019» (FLINK-2019). The project has a quantitative approach in the form of a cross-sectional study, and the survey was sent to the public health coordinators in the municipalities. The purpose of this study is to map which area of public health has the highest political priority and which factors influence the political prioritization of this area. The study will also look at the factors that affect municipalities to not have any priority public health areas. As the results showed that almost every fourth municipality has no political priority areas of public health.
