This master’s thesis aims to explore the barriers faced by organizations in implementing collaborative robotics within their operations and identify the best framework for successful implementation. The questions that have been shaped to answer this thesis are: Q1: What are the barriers for implementing collaborative robotics? Q2: What is the best framework for implementing collaborative robotics? The study takes a qualitative approach, utilizing semi-structured in-depth interviews to gather insights from industry professionals. Rogers diffusion of innovation serves as the fundamental baseline. And the Gioia method is practiced analyzing the findings. The findings are as follows: The barriers within the businesses are largely focused on the individual perception of the innovation of collaborative robots. The best framework applied for implementing robotics should have dimensions related to the individual perception of robotics.
