dc.description.abstractThis master's thesis examines the use of traditional Indian musical scales, specifically Raga Bhairav and Bhairavi, in modern music production. The thesis explores how these traditional elements can be integrated into modern compositions to enhance the composer's artistic expression and create a unique signature sound. The research questions aim to understand the advantages and challenges of incorporating traditional music into modern compositions while promoting cultural exchange and understanding. The study uses artistic development work to ensure high-quality artistic practice. The thesis provides insights into the potential impact of raga scales on modern compositions and contributes to the ongoing discussion on integrating traditional music into contemporary music production.
