| dc.description.abstract | The Fifth Cello Suite by J.S.Bach deals with many questions and problems about performing this suite on modern, baroque cello and scordatura. It is written in English language by Andrej Miletic and it is 53 pages long. It is a master thesis from the Agder University College, Faculty of Fine Arts, Institute of Music, classical department in Kristiansand, Norway.
This master thesis is devided into nine sections:
The first section is the introduction with methods and history.
In the second section I am writing about the Suite and the methods I will use.
In the third section I You will read about playing ornaments on cello.
In the fourth section I have tried to find the answer about the bowings and fingerings while playing and performing this suite.
In the fifth section I have described the suite, baroque cello, bow in 18th century and the modern cello and the bow .
In the sixth section I have given a short overview over Bach’s six suites.
In the seventh section I have given my conclusions.
The eight section is a bibliography.
