This thesis explores the impact of neoliberalism in the context of Uganda. Neoliberalism is a contested concept but is often defined as an ideology or doctrine which elevates free markets and promotes skepticism towards the state, and advocates for policies such as market liberalization, privatization, deregulation, free trade, austerity, and economic globalization.
