Abstract

Background: The requisite for health services in the primary health care will increase during the upcoming years. The population has an increasing share of elderlies, and amongst those many with dementia and other cognitive impairment. The Norwegian Directorate of Health recommends that municipalities, that are to upgrade their nurse call systems, choose digital systems that opens for the possibility of passive alert. Purpose: The purpose of our study has been to research which factors that are important for health personnel to accept digital nurse call systems, so that they both liked and had a wish to use them. Our research problem was “Which factors are important for health personnel to accept and have a desire to use digital nurse call systems.”
