There has been a shifting change that has been in process over the years. From a hospital oriented based care offer in psyciatric health care, to a more desentralised direction where the care is oritented through community-based service. The idea is that everyone is to receive individual and costumised help in the community where they live. One wishes that every being gets the help they need in the community so that they can have the opportunity to be integrated and live as a part of the community. The number of bedposts in psychiatric hospitals has decreased over the years, and the community-based services has increased the offer. At the same time it has been noticed that some people are regularly admitted to the specialised health care service. The purpose of this assignment is to examine what and how the users expirence the conditions of readmission in a psychiatri ward. This study is based on a qualitative study which has an exlorative design with a phenomenological and hermeneutical way of understanding. There has been done five interviews and a systematic text condensation method was used in the analysing process of the data from the interviews. The results from the study show that lonleyness, lack of network and social isolation was for some of the informants a problem. Poor interaction and communication between the 1st and 2nd line of service and between them was for one of the informants a contributing reason for readmission.
