The background of the project:From 2020 a new curriculum in physical education will be used. Several studies have been carried out where the researchers have come to the conclusion that a majority of the students enjoyphysical education as it is. These results made mecurious,andas a result, in my study I have agoal of searching in-depth within what the adolescent want with physical education in the future. Issue:«What do the adolescent want with physicaleducation in the future?» Method:My study was conducted using a qualitativ method with a phenomenological approach, and I conducted both observation and interview. The selection in the study consists of eight middleschool students as informants who are devided in ninth and tenth grade. I have chosen to use the analytical method systematic textcondensation (STC). Results:The adolescent want physical education to be variable. In addition, they want the subject to consist of challanges that through good efforts are possible to master. This makes the subject exciting, which in turn leads to increased movement pleasure in physical education.According to the informants, subject renewal will be a good change as it can lead to more students being happy with physical education. Conclusion:It can be concluded that what the adolescent want with physical education in the future is a subject consisting of variation and challenges that through good efforts are possible to master. This makes the subject exciting, which leads to increased movement pleasure in physical education.Keywords: Subject renewal, sport activity, movement pleasure, formation and identity creation.
