Sammendrag
Background: The coordination reform stats that to meet the future challenges in health, there
needs to be made coordinated health care. There has been made a pilot model on how a
volunteering organisation and the municipality can interact.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the background and purpose of Idrett Bergen
sør interaction model, and how it was implemented. To investigate the transfer value of the
interaction model, the study measured the effect on health-related quality by participation in
«Evig aktiv».
Method: Data collection using qualitative- and quantitative research method. It was conducted
informal research interview with the project manager, two observations one with Idrett
Bergen sør and one with representatives from Bergen municipality. It was also conducted
measurements of health-related quality of life, by using questionnaire pre- and post-test.
Result: Physical inactivity is a major challenge in today’s health. To meet this challenge, it
was formed partnership with various cooperation partners. There was no significant difference
between pre-and post-test on the physical health or mental health, either on the total sample or
split by gender. There was significant difference between the two components merged at posttest.
Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that the established interaction has a local and
national transfer value. The elderly did improve there health-related quality of life, but
because of the lack of significant results the study can not conclude that the cause of this
improvement is participation in «Evig aktiv».
